Rediscovering both the beauty and importance of the natural world has been a common theme for many of us — artists and non-artists alike — over the past 12 months. Strengthening resourceful ties between clothing and nature was a compass for Sandra Sandor’s Nanushka long before the great outdoors became a default for social distance and will continue to be at the brand’s ethos long after the current chapter of fashion.
For their Resort ‘21 collection, Nanushka coped with isolation through a physical, mental and spiritual cocktail of escape. For the brand’s latest collection, Sandor is reemerging into the natural world with lessons learned and strong directions for fashion’s sustainable future.
A range of short sleeved shirts in relaxed silhouettes make up the core to Nanushka’s Spring/Summer ‘21 collection. Camp collar shirts are elevated through knitted craftsmanship and eye-catching prints. The brand’s signature vegan leather is also given a warm weather spin. Yarns used for various pieces throughout the collection were sourced from FSC-certified sustainable forests — keeping the brand’s core values close to its artisanry.
Garments from the new collection are available now on our website and in the Seasons app.
